Due to essential systems work, GeneDB will be unavailable on this day from around 9:30am BST to early afternoon

Please note: We are experiencing problems with downloading Boolean search results. Additonally, the number of annotations reported to GO terms displayed on the gene page and as returned by Boolean searches is incorrect. We are working to fix these problems.

Nomenclature for sequence Ids is e.g.:

The first character (but for chr6, first two characters) indicate origin (B - Baylor, J - Jena, E - EUDICT).

The following 2 characters indicate chromosome or floatig. The remaining characters indicate version. JC1V2_0 chromosome 1

JC2V2_0 chromosome 2

JC3V2_0 chromosome 3

BC4V2_0 chromosome 4

BC5V2_0 chromosome 5

BEC6V2_0 chromosome 6

Floatigs

Those floatigs which have been confirmed to be unchanged since version 1 have been included again with their original version 1 analysis. The nomenclature reflects this e.g.: JF2V1_0C0001.

For those which were not in version 1 or have changed since version 1, the version number in the name shows this:

BFNV2_0C0001

the last 4 digits preceded by C indicate the contig number.
