Schistosoma mansoni GeneDB

At this site: first-pass annotation of the latest Schistosoma mansoni genome assembly.

Please note: users should be aware of the preliminary nature both of the sequence assembly and the annotation. Systematic identifiers may change in later versions. Where possible, mappings will be provided and currently used identifiers will be retained. These will be searchable alongside any new identifiers.

The S. mansoni genome database now contains v4.0 of the genome. Some gene predictions may have been deleted or added between the versions. A comparison of all gene models in version 4.0 and the previous version (v3.1) is provided, or you can view both datasets as separate tracks of annotation in Gbrowse.

Permission should be obtained before publishing large-scale analyses of the sequence, genes or gene families. Please contact Dr. Matt Berriman (Sanger Institute) and Dr. Najib El-Sayed (TIGR).
